A glimpse on the new Synacy office
Synacy as a company was able to start afresh in commissioning and designing an office to serve as it’s head quarters. The design was underpinned by the belief that a good environment can contribute to positive outcomes, increased productivity and boosts employee morale. It is not just about building an office but it is about providing a place where people are rewarded on the effort they put in.
The company aims to building a culture that rewards initiative, hard work and ingenuity and to provide a platform for people who aspire to hitting it big in their professions. Our new office is designed based on the vision of promoting a community of ingenious thinkers and high performers working hand-in-hand with other departments, team leaders and the management.
“Our main focus in creating a good office environment is for employees to be comfortable with their space and being able to work more effectively. We’re trying to make an environment where people can really contribute to the success of the company.” said Synacy VP Tom Okagami.
Synacy commissioned Arkitekto Kolab to design and build the headquarters at Level 6, Crown 7 Business Center, Mabolo, Cebu City. The 500 sq. m. office will house 50+ employees composed of professionals working in various streams such as software developers, sales representatives, finance, website developers, graphic designers and admin staff.
The new office will have perfectly sized desks coupled with quality imported seats in the production and sales areas, a conference room with projector and screen for meetings and a restaurant kitchen designed by The Abaca Group for employees to get together and eat. We will also provide each employee with fast computers, extra monitors where required and high-speed internet access.
The entire office enjoys natural light the full length of the office and is surrounded by huge windows and glass doors. LED lights will also be used for lighting in some areas, making it more environmentally friendly. The office is controlled by a centralized air-conditioning system that will provide the right room temperature in all areas.
Lastly, the cafeteria area provides a place for employees not only to dine in but to enjoy their time off from work. Game enthusiasts can play video and arcade games with their colleagues during their free time and develop friendships.
The office construction started last June and is ongoing.
