Life as an Intern: Harold Gersano
Harold is from Libertad, Maasin City, Southern Leyte. He loves reading news articles and watching movies. He is also interested in being an entrepreneur someday. His internship with Synacy allows him to discover a great deal of IT skills needed for the his future career.
How did the PN course helped you?
PN courses focused on two specializations, namely, SNA (Systems and Network Administration) and SD (Software Development). PN gave us the needed technical and professional training that helped us learn and gain skills that would prepare us for a career in the future.
What were your other choices for internship?
As part of PN’s curriculum to be interviewed for more than one company, Timex Inc. was one of my choices for internship.
What are the parts you are enjoying for internship with Synacy?
I enjoy doing the tasks assigned to me, having our daily trainings and learnings. It is challenging but at the same time fun. I learned a lot with our internship here such as new techniques on how to operate faster and more accurately.
What would you improve for your internship with Synacy?
I would improve my confidence, technical skills and communication skills.
What have you gained so far?
I gained good techniques for better communication and technical skills. I also learned how to use the computer wisely and helped me become more organized with my own system.
What are you hoping to achieve with it/take away from the internship?
One thing I am hoping to achieve is that after this internship, the things I learned would be useful in having a serious career in the future.
Would you recommend Synacy as an internship and why?
Yes, it would be a pleasure for me to recommend Synacy because the company has done its part in training us and giving us the chance to have a real work experience.
