Engineering grads join 1st Synacy Software Engineering Graduate Program

Six engineering graduates qualified for the first round of the Synacy Software Engineering Graduate Program and are currently in training in Manila with Orange and Bronze Software Labs Inc. (O&B).

The successful applicants will undergo a 10-week Java programming training before moving to an associate position and on the job training in Synacy Cebu City.  Check out the program’s infographic here.

The trainees will go through an intensive course starting with fundamentals of Java and Object Oriented Programming, Java Web Development, Frameworks, and software best practices. Frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Grails, JSF, and Struts will be covered before further on the ground training in Cebu with Synacy.

Once the 10-week training is completed, trainees will be appointed as graduate engineers and will spend at least 6 months developing their experience at Synacy through learning about the different Synacy projects, coding, pair programming and mentoring.

The trainees will have access to benefits such as catered meals and allowance. As they progress to a full time appointment, they will have new responsibilities and more access to company benefits such as HMO coverage, learning opportunities, on-site coffee shop and restaurant, competitive pay, and great environment.
