Life as an Intern: Katherine Ylagan

Katherine_frontKatherine is from Guiwanon, Bantayan Island, Cebu. She loves reading books and sketching. She is also interested in nature photography. Katherine was hesitant at first to have her internship at Synacy since the job is not related to her course, which is Systems and Network Administration. As time passed however, she was able to overcome her fear and has seen the internship as a challenge for her to learn new things.

How did the PN course helped you?

The PN course gave me a chance to prove myself in the field that I never imagined to take. Through this course, I was able to explore the IT world and began to understand the importance of it in society. PN also gave us the chance to experience what it’s like to be in the business world. They also gave me the confidence in dealing with different problems and to believe in myself.

What were your other choices for internship?

My other choices for internship were Trends and Technology, Inc. and Aboitiz.

Would you recommend synacy as an internship and why?

I highly recommend Synacy because of its great training. They don’t leave the interns behind. They make sure that we acquire new things that would be helpful in improving our internship.
