Life as an Intern: Jessel Becbec
Jessel hails from Catolohan, Dalaguete, Cebu and she enjoys playing the guitar, reading books and hanging out with friends. Jessel feels privileged to be part of a growing company. Because of her internship, she has developed confidence in interacting with other people. She has learned to ask questions first before doing the task.
How did the PN Course help you?
The PN course is really a big help to me.It gave me the chance to pursue my studies in college. Since the course is focused on information technology, it gave me the chance to be exposed to new innovations and to the real world with advance technologies since the course focused on information technology. Because of that, I am here now as an intern. It also serves as my stepping stone towards achieving my dreams and goals in life.
What were your other choices for internship?
I have a lot of choices for my internship, which are Trends and Technologies Inc., Accenture and Aboitiz, to name a few.
What are the parts you are enjoying for internship in Synacy?
I enjoyed the flow of the training because we are not only focusing on the works of only one team. We are also given the chance to know about other team’s works and sometimes work with them.
What would you improve for your internship in Synacy?
I’ll be more focused on whatever task I’ll do and be attentive when talking with the boss and with the colleagues.
What have you gained so far?
As an intern working more as a Customer Support Representative, I gained a lot specifically about support representative tasks. I also gained new knowledge from other teams which can be useful and can be applied on my day-to-day tasks.
What are you hoping to achieve with it / take away from the internship?
I’m hoping that in this internship, I can gain more knowledge and learnings that can be useful not only in the advanced field of IT industry but also in a real life scenario.
Would you recommend Synacy as an internship and why.?
Yes, of course. It’s a great opportunity to endorse Synacy as one of the companies to have internship with. Aside from the benefits they offered, they also have good training environment, and as I’ve experienced, it’s not hard to adjust to their working environment. Another reason is that the people are very nice and approachable. People managed their time between work and fun and there’s a spirit of cooperation from everyone.
